Executive Assistant (Cairo)Details
Summary
The Executive Assistant is responsible for handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people and programs.
Job Purpose: Enhances executive's effectiveness by providing information management support; representing the executive to others.
1. Conserves executive's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.
2. Be responsible for heavy calendar management, requiring interaction with both internal and external executives and assistants, as well as consultants, to coordinate a variety of complex executive meetings
3. Maintains executive's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
4. Represents the executive by attending meetings in the executive's absence; speaking for the executive.
5. Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries.
6. Answer phones and direct all incoming calls to appropriate party promptly and efficiently
7. Completes projects by assigning work to clerical staff; following up on results.
8. Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing information.
9. Secures information by completing data base backups.
Skills/Qualifications:
• 1-2 years experience in similar position.
• Relevant Bachelor degree preferred in Business Administration.
• Strong Communication Skills.
• Business Writing Skills.
• Solid understanding of business concepts.
• Scheduling, Planning and Organization Skills.
• Time Management Skills.
• Presentation Skills.
• Excellent calendar management skills, including the coordination of complex executive meetings.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Experience scheduling travel arrangements for management.
